Commuter shuttles aren't just for the big boys anymore.

CommuteSource is a startup founded by veterans of big-tech shuttle programs who are committed to transforming Bay Area transportation systems as a model for the world. We’re preparing to launch a new a new model of commercial mass transit that not only complements our region’s most direct public systems like BART, Caltrain, and ferries, but also supports and strengthens them in this time of fiscal uncertainty.

If you’ve ever wished your teams could enjoy programs like those at Apple, Google, and Meta, here’s your chance–with no expense, commitment, or overhead for you:

  • Return to Office, stress-free

  • Reduce traffic & parking congestion

  • Improve employee recruiting & retention

  • Minimize your carbon footprint

  • Comply with local & regional requirements

Here’s how it works:

  • CommuteSource sells rides directly to riders.

  • Fares are eligible for pre-tax transit benefits, on a per-ride or discounted monthly subscription basis.

  • Employers can subsidize rides fully, partially, or not at all.

  • Riders are CommuteSource’s customers, not yours. There are no new programs to manage: no contracts, integrations, approvals, or infrastructure required.

CommuteSource is now collecting data to design services for launch in the coming months. Tell us about your commute via this custom, secure, 1-minute survey, which generalizes home addresses to preserve your privacy, while capturing the level of detail we need to design impactful, cost-effective services. And spread the word to your colleagues and neighbors by emailing or displaying this flyer.

Already have your own shuttle program? Let CommuteSource incorporate it into their growing network to save money while expanding services. Their flexible, open model leverages economies of scale you can’t on your own, while offering service-specific exclusivity as needed.
